Well, I got it! At first, I wasn't sure which was more dazzling, the wrapping or the ring! It's lovely, just as you said. And nice and heavy. I'm wearing it here at my desk, afraid to move for fear of scratching it. It may take me a while to get used to such a large, nice ring. My inclination is to put such nice things away, "for special occasions". But at 49, I needn't wait for special occasions. The ring is wonderful and I'm so very pleased with it, as you knew I would be, all along.
